September 25, 2006

Former RAINBOW and current YNGWIE MALMSTEEN frontman Doogie White will interview Jerry Bloom, author of the new Ritchie Blackmore biography "Black Knight: The Ritchie Blackmore Story", on his Total Rock radio show on Wednesday, September 27 between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. (GMT).

Commented White: "I HAVE read the book and it is a fascinating view of Ritchie's career."

Doogie's Total Rock show can be heard online at www.totalrock.com.

"Black Knight" was written and researched by Bloom, who first met Ritchie more than twenty years ago; has followed his career since the Seventies, and since 1996 has published and edited the international Ritchie Blackmore magazine More Black Than Purple.

"Black Knight" is available in hardback only and contains 400 pages. All copies bought from MoreBlackThanPurple.co.uk will be signed by the author.
