Former QUEEN Guitarist Awarded With Honorary Degree

Former QUEEN guitarist Brian May was awarded with an honorary Doctor Of Science degree by the University Of Hertfordshire. As a result, the letters after his name will now officially be B.H. May BSc. (Hons),ARCS, Hon.Dsc. In an email to queenworld.com, May said: My understanding is that the degree has been offered to me in recognition of my contribution to music with particular reference to the bridging effect I have been able to make between some aspects of Arts & Science. I feel very honoured indeed!
