Former MISFITS Frontman Explains Tour Cancellation

May 3, 2007

Former MISFITS frontman Michale Graves has issued the following statement regarding the cancellation of his previously tour:

"I am truly sorry for canceling the Revelation tour that was scheduled for the next 6 weeks. I know there were a lot of fans excited to see the upcoming shows and of course the promoters who once again put time, money and effort into my dreams.

"There is no single reason why these shows were cancelled. In the weeks, days and even hours prior to the night we were supposed to hit the road, there were many issues that I kept trying to fix to be able to do the tour. New band members, transportation issues (again),gear problems, booking issues, the whole nine yards. Finally, just a day before the tour, it all reached the point where I knew that completing the tour just couldn't be salvaged, and I would not have been able to give fans the 110% performance they deserved.

"Again, I am truly sorry for everything. We simply did not have the time to properly plan and pay attention to the detail needed coming off the Southern Acoustic tour and the recording sessions for the Damien Echols collaboration record.

"In order to show my appreciation to everyone who has stuck by me, I am offering these songs for free to download.

* 'Ophelia…' from 'Web Of Dharma'
* 'Crying on Saturday Night' and 'Dig Up Her Bones' acoustic…' from 'Demos and Live Cuts Vol. 1'
* 'You Awful Me' from GOTHAM ROAD 'Seasons of the Witch'
* 'Silent Partner' written by Damien Echols and Michale Graves from the upcoming album 'Illusions'

"This certainly doesn't make up for all of the mess I have created once again with everything. But in some way maybe this music will remind everyone that I am still just a simple musician from New Jersey doing the best I can with what I got.

"This experience has taught me a lot — and until a tour can be properly planned, with the needed time constraints, I'll be working on more records and building a catalog of material.

"To everyone who has been there for me in the past, present and what is to come, I thank you so much."
