Former MINISTRY Bassist Schedules DJing Gig In Chicago

November 19, 2006

Original Wax Trax! artist Paul Barker of MINISTRY/REVOLTING COCKS fame will perform a special DJ set on December 9 at Neo Chicago (2350 N. Clark St.) in Chicago, Illinois. Also scheduled to appear is DJ Afra. $10 cover, 10pm-5am.

Barker left MINISTRY in 2003 after 18 years with the industrial-metal pioneers. Paul told MTV.com in January 2004 that he planned to produce other groups and write music on his own. "I wanna make big, ugly, heavy music because that's what I love," he said. "But it's pop music. It has verses and choruses. It's not abstract and experimental."
