Former MEGADETH Guitarist Releases Solo Album In Indonesia

October 18, 2003

Former MEGADETH guitarist Marty Friedman released his latest solo CD, "Music For Speeding", in Indonesia on October 15 and sold over 700 copies in two days, which — according to Friedman's web site — is "an extremely impressive number. Even more impressive is that this is despite Marty having yet to ever visit the beautiful country. Indonesian distributor Alfa Records are very pleased with the initial reaction to the record."

In other news, Marty will appear on the nationwide broadcast of "Music Fair" in Japan. This popular program is also available on many satellite systems around the world. Marty will tape his segment on November 11, so the broadcast date will likely be within the following week. This will be Marty's first-ever appearance on "Music Fair".
