Former MEGADETH Bassist To Take Part In Web Chat

October 18, 2005

F5 members David Ellefson (bass; ex-MEGADETH) and Dale Steele (vocals) will be at the Ultra Entertainment studios on Sunday, October 30 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time for a live web chat. Join Dale and David in the F5 chat room to ask your questions.

According to the band, this won't be just some text chat. You ask questions via a text window and hear the entire interview streaming live online. You can also submit your questions in advance using the F5 "Contact Us" form or you can ask your questions live during the chat. The chat will last one hour.

Click here to ask your questions in advance (be sure to select Live Chat Question).

You will need to be registered on the F5 web site for this chat and have Windows Media Player installed on your PC or MAC. You can download the latest version of Windows Media Player for free from Microsoft's web site at this location.

F5 released their debut album, "A Drug for All Seasons", in North America last month via Cleopatra Records. In addition to the full-length audio version of the album, this release also features bonus video material of the band in the studio filmed during the recording sessions for the record.

The original version of "A Drug For All Seasons" is also available in Asia on JVC Victor Entertainment and in Europe on Mascot Records. Additionally, the special "pay now, play now" version of the album (available at www.f5theband.com) allows the listener to purchase, and digitally download, the entire audio record into their computer and still receive the full-length copy in the mail, all at one special low price.

F5, whose sound is being described as guitar-heavy melodic hard rock, recorded the album last year at a Phoenix-area studio with producer Ryan Greene, who had previously worked with Ellefson in 1991 on the demos for MEGADETH's "Countdown to Extinction" album.
