Former MASTERPLAN/RIOT Singer To Perform With ALICE IN CHAINS Tribute Band

Former MASTERPLAN/RIOT frontman Mike DiMeo will perform with the ALICE IN CHAINS tribute band JAR OF FLIES on Thursday, July 22 at New York City's Don Hills. He will be joined by members of Chris Caffery's solo band, ZANDELLE and V.O.X. The one-off show begins at 8:45 p.m.

CREATION'S END, the new power/progressive metal band featuring vocalist DiMeo, guitarists Rudy Albert (ZANDELLE) and Marco Sfogli (JAMES LABRIE),drummer Dario Rodriguez, and bassist Joey Bones, is working on its debut album, "A New Beginning", with producer John Macaluso (JAMES LABRIE, FOOL'S GAME, ARK, TNT, YNGWIE MALSTEEN) for a late 2010 release via an as-yet-undetermined record label.

According to a press release, "CREATION'S END unites strong melodies with dark and brutally heavy power metal as well as a slight touch of prog."

For the upcoming CD< Rudy and Dario set out to record eight reworked versions of songs that appeared on their demos which were laid down during 2003-2006.
