October 6, 2003

Drummer Bobby Jarzombek, best known for his work with HALFORD, SPASTIC INK, and RIOT, has been invited to the prestigious "International Percussion Festival" in Poland. The event, which was first held in 1988, is taking place between October 7 and October 12.

Jarzombek is set to appear on October 10 in Opole and October 11 in Wroclaw, respectively, and will be performing solo material, including "School" and "Peppered Cancer" from his drum video, "Performance & Technique", demonstrate double bass drum concepts, as well as jam with Polish musicians. "I'm really looking forward to this, even more so as in all my years of touring with RIOT and HALFORD, I have never made it to my ancestral homeland of Poland. I just hope they have a translator for me over there because I don't speak a lick of Polish."

Also scheduled to appear are Carl Palmer (EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER, ASIA),Will Calhoun (LIVING COLOUR),and John "JR" Robinson (ERIC CLAPTON, MICHAEL JACKSON, STEVE WINWOOD),among others.
