Former EXHORDER/FLOODGATE Frontman Joins ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY

May 22, 2006

ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY have announced the addition of Kyle Thomas as the group's lead vocalist. "Kyle is a world-class singer with an impressive resumé that includes being a founding member of seminal New Orleans metal band EXHORDER and singing with other acts, including FLOODGATE, PITTS VS PREPS and the legendary TROUBLE," ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY drummer Bryan Cox writes in a statement. "With the singer (or lack thereof) situation resolved, we will be headed quickly toward hitting the studio to make the album that we have been writing since this past July. In typical ATP fashion, this one will be different from the last thing that we did and we are obviously very excited to get it on tape. If you are at all familiar with Kyle's work, then you know that what he is going to bring to this ATP record will be very special and we feel honored and fortunate to be taking the next step forward as ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY with him as a part of the team."

Cox continued: "I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you folks who have supported ATP over the years and who enjoy and appreciate what we do enough to buy our records and come out to see us play. 2006 makes 10 years as a band for us and it's still as exciting for me as it was when I started doing this. So anyway thank you thank you thank you and please stay tuned as we get ready to unleash another one on your tender ears!!"
