Former DRAIN STH drummer Martina Axen has officially joined SNAKE RIVER CONSPIRACY as the group's new lead vocalist. Axen comes into the group as the replacement for Tobey Torres, who is said to have left the band earlier this year to pursue a solo project.

Another brand-new addition to SNAKE RIVER CONSPIRACY is former SINISSTAR guitarist China, who had most recently played with Martina in SUPERFIX, the ill-fated project Axen formed ex-DRAIN STH bassist Anna Kjellberg.

SNAKE RIVER CONSPIRACY are believed to be recording material for the long-awaited follow-up to their 2000 debut, "Sonic Jihad", tentatively due later in the year through an as-yet-undetermined label.
