Former DRAGONFORCE Bass Player Joins COLDERA

April 19, 2008

UK bassist Adrian Lambert (BIOMECHANICAL, SON OF SCIENCE, ex-DRAGONFORCE) has joined new U.S.-based melodic speed metal band COLDERA.

Commented Adrian: "I heard that Bill [Hudson, ex-CELLADOR] was putting a new melodic speed metal outfit together. We were chatting one day and he said that he couldn't find anyone Stateside who could really handle the bassist position. When I heard that Carlos [Zema, DAVE SHANKLE GROUP, ex-OUTWORLD] and Adam [Sagan, ex-INTO ETERNITY] were on board I figured a trip to the States was in order and here we are!"

Lambert continued, "We've already started pre-production for the debut album which will be released later this year. People are gonna love the sick shredding and the great melodies we have in the COLDERA songs this is definitely Bill's most amazing work yet. Prepare for the onslaught!"

Hudson stated: "It's great to have Adrian on board. His amazing and unquestionable bass skills combined with bombastic stage presence definitely makes him the best choice COLDERA could ever make. Frankly, I never thought we'd find someone like that for the band. We'll be uploading new pre production tracks to our MySpace page on a regular bassis, and we're really excited for you all to her it."

COLDERA has launched its official MySpace page, which includes a streaming-audio version of the track "Through the End".

COLDERA's lineup is rounded out by young up-and-coming Florida shredder John Slaughter (SKINDUSTRY).
