Former DEATH/CYNIC guitarist Paul Masvidal will reportedly make a guest appearance on the debut album from German black/death metallers ILLEGIMITATION. The as-yet-untitled effort will be recorded in August at Mastersound Studio in Fellbach, Germany under the production guidance of Alex Krull (ATROCITY, BELPHEGOR, SINISTER). Other guest musicians scheduled to appear on the CD include Victor Bullok (DARK FORTRESS, THE SHROUD) and Alex St├╝tz (SERAPH OF PESTILENCE, ST. LUZIFER).

ILLEGIMITATION have been confirmed for the Walpurgis Metal Days IV festival, set to take place April 30-May 1 at Festplatz Hauznberg in Germany. Other groups scheduled to perform at the festival include SODOM, HAEMMORRHAGE, DISASTROUS MURMUR and BLOOD. Bass duties for ILLEGIMITATION at the festival will be handled by Azmo of TAMISRA.
