Former CRYPTOPSY Frontman Joins COVENANCE

COVENANCE, the new band featuring former MISERY INDEX members Matt Byers (drums) and Bruce Greig (also ex-DYING FETUS),have parted ways with vocalist Vince Matthews (ex-DYING FETUS) due to "professional differences." His replacement in the group is none other than former CRYPTOPSY frontman Martin Lacroix. Martin will make his recording debut with the band in April when the band are scheduled to begin work on a new CD, to be followed by extensive touring.

Formed in March 2005, COVENANCE's first demo was remastered by Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, MORBID ANGEL) and released as the "Ravaging The Pristine" CD (TCI) and 7" (Emetic Records).
