Former Canadian 'Metal Queen' LEE AARON And Child: Photo Posted Online

June 17, 2004

Former Canadian "metal queen" Lee Aaron's official web site has uploaded a photo of Lee with her first child, a baby girl named Angela Maris, who was born on June 7. Check it out here.

"[Husband] John and I are so thrilled to welcome our first child into the world," Aaron said in a statement.

"This is an incredible blessing and an amazing time for our family."

Aaron, who currently lives in the Vancouver B.C., released her latest album, "Beautiful Things", earlier this spring. The CD features 12 new tracks, mostly originals, and leans in a more contemporary pop direction than 2000's "Slick Chick".

Aaron has recorded 11 albums since entering the music scene at age 19.
