Former AMEN/BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION Bassist Launches HATED PIGS

August 30, 2006

Newly relocated to the East Coast after leaving BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, ex-AMEN bass player Scott Sorry has teamed up with co-writer/producer Dan R. (JOE'S FRIEND, HELL HOUNDS FROM HELL) to form HATED PIGS.

Featuring Sorry on guitar and vocals, and Dan R. on bass and drums, the duo has already started production on its first single, "Black & Blue", with a target release date before the end of the year.

HATED PIGS formed when Scott and Dan met at a TRASHLIGHT VISION show and realized they both shared the same vision and roots. They started writing almost immediately.

With a musical direction described as "song-driven, emotional rock with a punk flavor and plenty of hooks," HATED PIGS promises to be "a band that stays true to their roots and play songs that are memorable and timeless with guitar driven hooks and colorful melodies," according to a press release.
