Former ALICE IN CHAINS Guitarist Watches VAL KILMER Play MOSES

October 1, 2004

ABC ePrep is reporting that former ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist Jerry Cantrell was in the audience on Monday (Sept. 27) when Val Kilmer's musical production of "The Ten Commandments" opened at L.A.'s Kodak Theater.

Jerry is expected to go into the studio in the next few months to record the follow-up to his 2002 solo effort, "Degradation Trip". The CD is tentatively due in 2005 through an as-yet-undetermined label.

CARDBOARD VAMPYRES, the new "covers" band featuring Cantrell, ex-THE CULT guitarist Billy Duffy and former MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman John Corabi, will be putting on a very special Halloween performance at the Carlos and Charlie's at La Zona Rosa in Austin, TX on October 31.
