FIREWIND Keyboardist Continues Work On Solo CD

Bob Katsionis, keyboardist of Greek power metal act FIREWIND as well as guitarist of NIGHTFALL and IMAGINERY, is putting the finishing touches on his third solo CD. Once again, the effort will be an all-instrumental work in the vein of LIQUID TENSION EXPERIMENT, DREAM THEATER and STRATOVARIUS, with special guest appearances by Jeff Waters (ANNIHILATOR), Marcel Coenen (SUN CAGED) and Theodore Ziras. The CD will comprise 12 tracks.

In other news, Katsionis has once again laid down the keyboards for a new recording from his friends, epic-metallers BATTLEROAR. In addition, he has contributed one keyboard solo to Marcel Coenen's new CD, "Colour Journey", and he has co-written seven new FIREWIND tracks with the group's guitarist, Gus G., for the band's forthcoming CD. FIREWIND are currenly seeking a new singer following the departure of Chity Somapala (ex-AVALON, FARO) in July due to "personal reasons."
