Finland's SEAR To Release Sophomore Album In March

Finnish extreme metallers SEAR will release their second full-length album, "Lamentations of Destruction", on March 7 in Finland, March 9 in G/A/S (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and March 5 in the rest of the world via Dynamic Arts Records. The CD was recorded last fall/early winter at Studio Ruho and was mixed at Studio Dauntless, and it contains "11 songs of twisted and furious death/black metal with harsh yet pro sounds," according to a press release. Mastering duties were handled at Virtalähde Analog Audio.

SEAR released its debut album, "Begin the Celebrations of Sin", in 2005 via DAR. SEAR was also a nominee for the "Best Newcomer of the Year" award at the Finnish Metal Awards 2005.
