FILTER Adds To Current Road Trip

June 13, 2008

According to The Pulse of Radio, FILTER continues to add dates to its current road trip, with the newest shows running from July 7 to July 12 and taking place mostly in the Southwest. The July 12 date will be an "intimate friends and family performance" in Los Angeles, FILTER frontman Richard Patrick's adopted hometown, and only a limited number of tickets will be made available to the general public. FILTER began touring on May 13 in support of "Anthems for the Damned", the first album from the group in six years.

Support on the new shows will come from OPIATE FOR THE MASSES and the URGENCY.

Patrick reactivated FILTER after recording and touring with ARMY OF ANYONE in 2006 and early 2007.

The band performs on Friday night (June 13) in Urbana, Illinois.

The first single from "Anthems for the Damned", "Soldiers of Misfortune", was inspired by a FILTER fan who was killed while serving in the Middle East.

Newly added FILTER tour dates:

July 07 - Denver, CO - Bluebird Theater
July 08 - Salt Lake City, UT - Avalon Theater
July 10 - Albuquerque, NM - Sunshine Theater
July 11 - Phoenix, AZ - Tempe Marketplace
July 12 - Los Angeles, CA - The Roxy Theatre
