FELLSILENT Parts Ways With Guitarist, Seeks Replacement

May 1, 2009

Guitarist Acle Kahney has quit U.K.'s FELLSILENT to dedicate himself to his progressive project TESSERACT on a full-time basis. The group says in a statement, "Splitting the heavy work load of the two bands simply wasn't working out. It was a mutual decision and, of course, means both bands can concentrate solely on their seperate directions! Even though we remain close friends, we will miss him.

"We would like to reassure fans that this is definitely not the end for FELLSILENT. You can look forward to the release of our new video coming soon, as well as some cheeky releases from our second studio album that's currently under work! This also means that we are currently looking to recruit a new guitarist, a direct application for which can be found on our MySpace blog. Please have a read through the criteria and get in touch if you think you're what we're looking for!"

FELLSILENT's debut CD, "The Hidden Words", was released in the U.S. on March 3 via Sumerian Records.
