FEAR FACTORY Frontman's ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS To Perform At NXNE Convention

ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS — the project featuring Burton C. Bell (FEAR FACTORY) and John Bechdel (MINISTRY, KILLING JOKE, FALSE ICONS) — are confirmed to perform at this year's NXNE convention in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The band will play the event on Thursday, June 8 at midnight (12:00 a.m.) at the Katherdal (Bathurst and Queen Street West). To this date, ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS have only played eight shows, so this is a special event.

For more information, visit www.nxne.com.

ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS' debut five-song EP, "Iconoclast", was made available last year exclusively through the band's web site, www.ascensionofthewatchers.com.

"Iconoclast" was released in two formats: a 12", full-color gatefold on heavy black vinyl in a limited-edition pressing of 500; and as an enhanced CD, with a limited pressing of 1,000. The CD includes the five songs — "Evading", "Residual Presence", "On The River", "Moonshine", and "Quintessence" — as well as a video for "On The River", a rare interview with Burton and John, and links to web sites. The CD and vinyl feature different artwork and photographs by Burton. Included with every purchase is an autographed promotional photo.

ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS is an unsigned project, utilizing the web as a tool to release their music.
