FEAR FACTORY Drummer Records IGGY AND THE STOOGES Cover

February 5, 2007

FEAR FACTORY's Raymond Herrera has laid down the drums tracks for a cover version of the IGGY AND THE STOOGES classic "Gimme Danger", which is being released for the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 game on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The song, which also features the PIXIES frontman Frank Black, can be heard at this location.

Herrera recently posted a song from his KILLING ZONE project — featuring CYPRESS HILL's B-Real — at his official MySpace profile. Check out the track "They Won't Stop Me" by scrolling through the audio player at www.myspace.com/raymondherrera.

Herrera has a company called 3volution Productions that produces music, sound effects and voice-overs for video game, television and film. He is also the co-owner of the record label Kool Arrow Records.

FEAR FACTORY frontman frontman Burton C. Bell confirmed to Jenny Feniak of the Edmonton Sun in December that the band has parted ways with Liquid 8 Records, the label that issued the group's last two albums — 2004's "Archetype" and 2005's "Transgression".

"Right now we're a completely independent band. We're free of labels and free of all sorts of things, so it's all about the music right now," said Bell.

Released in August 2005, "Transgression" was produced by Toby Wright (ALICE IN CHAINS, KORN, METALLICA).
