FATES WARNING: 'Spectre Within' Special Collectors' Edition Artwork Available

April 10, 2006

Dangerous Age Graphics has announced a very limited edition (only twenty canvas originals!) canvas prints of FATES WARNING's "Spectre Within" artwork, hand-retouched and signed by cover artist Ioannis (BLUE ÖYSTER CULT, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, BIOHAZARD, DEEP PURPLE, ALLMAN BROTHERS, UFO, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN).

In the spring of 1986, progressive metal band FATES WARNING asked a young up-and-coming local Connecticut artist Ioannis if he could create the cover for their sophomore album, "The Spectre Within". Thus a classic illustration and fan favorite was born. It has appeared in articles, fanzines, t-shirts, limited edition prints, web sites, and tatoos. Since then both artists have gone on to critical sucess and succesful careers, with Ioannis having designed over 156 record covers for some of the biggest names in music and art-directed campaigns for a series of worldwide entertainment clients.

To commemorate the remastered release of the "The Spectre Within" album, Ioannis has created twenty (20) canvas prints measuring 20" X 24" unframed. This is the approximate size of the original painting. Each of the prints is printed in archival inks. Ioannis has also hand-painted certain sections of each canvas print making it a one-of-a-kind original and the closest thing to owning the original Ioannis/FATES WARNING painting.

The canvas edition will be limited to these twenty (20) pieces and not reproduced again. A unique collectable that is certain to gain value in time. The art is framed, matted and ready for display. Included in the collectors editions package is:

* Limited-edition signed prints of his FATES WARNING artwork "Narcosis" and "Shadow Garden" (artwork for the "Awaken The Guardian" album).
* All the artwork and prints come hand signed by Ioannis and with certificates of authenticity.

The cost of the package is $299.00 for U.S. and Canada (not inc. shipping and insurance). Shipping within 3-4 weeks of order.
