Bassist extraordinaire Joey Vera (FATES WARNING, ARMORED SAINT, ANTHRAX) has posted the following message on his official web site;

"First, the show in Amsterdam with FATES WARNING was killer. Mike Portnoy [DREAM THEATER] filled in on drums and it was a major blast jamming with Mike. He's just a monster drummer and a great guy. Although it was too damm short, we had a great time and he kicked our set up a notch. We had a six-hour rehearsal the day before the show and then we just went in and tore it up the next day. Thanks to all who came out!

"The new FATES video for 'Simple Human' aired on last Saturday's 'Headbanger's Ball' on MTV2. Check back this Saturday in case you missed it. At the moment we're working on a live DVD we shot in Athens, Greece of our headline show. We're almost in editing and the audio is being mixed by Bill Metoyer (SLAYER, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM) and should be coming out late summer I think. It should be killer 'cause the show was amazing. Greece rules."
