FACE DOWN To Enter Studio In July

FACE DOWN, the reunited Swedish outfit featuring former THE HAUNTED singer Marco Aro, will enter Fear and Loathing studio (co-owned by MESHUGGAH and CLAWFINGER) on July 4 to begin recording their as-yet-untitled new album. "We should be finished by the beginning of August, and the release should be approximately three months after that, if everything goes as planned."

Joining former THE HAUNTED singer Marco Aro in the new FACE DOWN lineup are original members, bassist Joakim (Harju) Hedestedt (ex-CONSTRUCDEAD) and guitarist Joacim Carlsson (GENERAL SURGERY), plus new drummer Erik Thyselius (CONSTRUCDEAD, TERROR 2000).

FACE DOWN's forthcoming album, which will be released through Sweden's Black Lodge Records, will feature brand new material, as well as reworked versions of previously unreleased old tracks.
