FACE DOWN: Former THE HAUNTED Singer Inks New Record Deal

Swedish "metalcore" band FACE DOWN, featuring former THE HAUNTED vocalist Marco Aro, have reportedly signed a deal with Black Lodge Records — the label imprint operated by Sound Pollution, the biggest independent metal distributor/label in Sweden.

FACE DOWN released two albums in the late '90s — "Mindfield" (1995, Roadrunner) and "The Twisted Rule The Wicked" (1997, Nuclear Blast) — before splitting up in 1999. The band, who previously featured in their ranks current ENTOMBED drummer Peter Stjärnvind, are apparently active once again.
