EYES OF FIRE: New Music Available For Download

April 25, 2005

Orange County-based quintet EYES OF FIRE have posted two songs from their upcoming sophomore album at their official web site. "They are unmastered and the final product will have slightly different production qualities than what you hear now," reads a post on the group's web site. Check out the tracks "Blood (This Consumes You)" (mp3) and "It All Dies Today" (mp3).

EYES OF FIRE's follow-up to last year's "Ashes to Embers" was produced by the band and mixed by Matt Bayles (MASTODON, ISIS, NORMA JEAN). The drums and bass were tracked at the legendary Grandmaster Recorders (TOOL, NINE INCH NAILS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE) in Hollywood. Additional tracking was done in the group's studio in Santa Ana and the record was mixed at For The Record (18 VISIONS, THROWDOWN, DEATH BY STEREO) in Orange. The first 5,000 copies will include a slipcase and a special bonus CD featuring one song clocking in at just under 25 minutes. A summer release via Century Media Records is expected.
