EYEHATEGOD: Rare 1989 Live Video Posted Online

March 9, 2007

A rare video clip of EYEHATEGOD performing live at at Storyville Jazz Hall in New Orleans on June 30, 1989 as the opening act for EXHORDER and SOILENT GREEN has been posted online at YouTube.com.

EYEHATEGOD will play a few shows in mid-May in Louisiana and Texas. They've confirmed their appearance at the Chaos In Tejas festival at Emo's in Austin on May 18 and will be doing shows in Houston, Fort Worth, and New Orleans. More information will be made available soon.

Regarded as the founders of American sludgecore, EYEHATEGOD has become one of the most important bands to emerge from the NOLA (New Orleans, Louisana) metal scene. EYEHATEGOD formed in 1988 and became known for their heavy, detuned and bluesy guitar riffs, combined with walls of feedback and tortured vocals to create a harsh misanthropic vibe.
