November 30, 2006

A video clip of veteran San Francisco Bay Area thrashers EXODUS performing the classic song "Strike of the Beast" last night (Wednesday, November 29) in Belgrade, Serbia has been posted online at YouTube.com.

Commented Branko Milosavljevic, promoter of last night's concert: "Last night was fucking blast! I hever never seen such great and true energy from one band. [They] played more than 110 minutes in Belgrade. They added some special songs just for the 'crazy' fans in Serbia, as the band said. After the song 'Strike of the Beast', [EXODUS guitarist] Lee Altus invited a fan onto the stage to play the final riff of the song... Rob Dukes [EXODUS vocalist] went to stage dive after 'Strike of the Beast'."

EXODUS is continuing to tour in support of "Shovel Headed Kill Machine", which was released in October 2005 via Nuclear Blast Records. Recorded at Trident studios in Pacheco, California and mixed by Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY),the follow-up to 2004's "Tempo of the Damned" is the band's first album to feature new members Lee Altus (guitar; HEATHEN),Paul Bostaph (drums; ex-SLAYER, TESTAMENT, FORBIDDEN) and Rob Dukes (vocals).
