EXCITER To Headline Toronto's MQMUSICFEST

For three years running, MQMusicfest has brought together some of the best rock and metal acts in Canada. This year, to accommodate the abundance of talent, the festival was split into two series, the first of which was held in June.

Metal Queen Management has announced that Canadian speed metal legends EXCITER will headline the second series on August 17, 2008.

MQMusicfest 2008 Series 2 will take place at The Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto, is a 19+ event and doors open at 3:00 p.m. for 10-hours of music mayhem.

Bands scheduled to play include:

BLIND RACE
FIDGET
MAN THE DESTROYER
AFTERMATH

Tickets are $25.00 and will be available at Ticketmaster.ca on Wednesday, July 9, 2008.

EXCITER's new album, "Thrash Speed Burn", was released on February 22 via Massacre Records. The CD marks EXCITER's recorded debut with new singer Kenny "MetalMouth" Winter, who joined the band in October 2006.
