Ex-MEGADETH Members, WATCHTOWER Guitarist To Perform At WORLD GUITAR CONGRESS

SPASTIC INK/WATCHTOWER guitarist Ron Jarzombek is once again hooking up with fellow guitarist Marty Friedman (ex-MEGADETH, CACOPHONY) following last year's "Guitarevolution" tour. The MARTY FRIEDMAN solo band, also featuring bassist/vocalist Chris Catero (RAZER, ex-WARDOG) and drummer Jimmy DeGrasso (ex-MEGADETH, Y&T),will appear in concert at the "World Guitar Congress" on Tuesday June 8 in Baltimore, Maryland. Also scheduled to perform are Eric Johnson, Andy Summers, Allan Holdsworth, and Les Paul, among others. For more info, click here.

In other SPASTIC INK news, drummer Bobby Jarzombek has hit the road with ICED EARTH, taking over for the departed Richard Christy (LEASH LAW, ex-DEATH). The band kicked off the second leg of their U.S. tour in support of their new album, "The Glorious Burden", June 1 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas and will visit 14 more cities between now and June 18 before heading over to Europe. ICED EARTH are scheduled as the headlining act at the Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium on June 25 and Germany's Bang Your Head Festival on June 26, respectively.
