Ex-MASTERPLAN Singer JORN LANDE Mixing New Solo Album

December 3, 2007

Former MASTERPLAN singer Jorn Lande is currently at Tommy Hansen's Jailhouse Studio in Denmark mixing his new solo album for a March 2008 release (to be made available under the JORN banner). "We are planning to come see many of you guys and gals around Europe next year — and hopefully other parts of the world as well," states Lande.

As previously reported, Jorn Lande has been confirmed as one of the guests on "The Scarecrow", the third installment of EDGUY frontman Tobias Sammet's AVANTASIA solo project. The album was produced by Sascha Paeth, who also played the rhythm guitar on the CD. The drums were laid down by KISS/ALICE COOPER drummer Eric Singer and the bass was handled by Tobias himself.

Frontiers Records earlier in the year released two separate records by Lande (who performs under the band name JORN),entitled "Unlocking the Past" and "The Gathering". The concept behind this dual release was to satisfy the fans' request for more material and to make some of Jorn's earlier work more widely available.
