Ex-HELLOWEEN Drummer KUSCH Rejoins MEKONG DELTA

March 22, 2006

Former HELLOWEEN and current MASTERPLAN drummer Uli Kusch has rejoined legendary German progressive thrash outfit MEKONG DELTA as the replacement for Peter Haas (ex-KROKUS, POLTERGEIST),who is reportedly too busy to take part in the new album recording sessions. Kusch is no stranger to MEKONG DELTA, having previously played with the band on their 1988 EP "The Gnome" (when he was known as "Patrick Duval"). Completing the band's current lineup are mainman Ralf Hubert and guitarist Peter Sjöberg (also known as Peter Lake from THEORY IN PRACTICE). A suitable singer for the band has not yet been found.

Zardoz Music last year released a two-CD, 22-song compilation, entitled "The Principle of Doubt", containing selections from various MEKONG DELTA albums.
