EVERGREY Performs In Bulgaria For First Time; Photos Available

January 16, 2007

Swedish metallers EVERGREY made their Bulgarian live debut on January 15 in the city of Plovdiv as part of their current Eastern European tour. Check out pictures of the concert at this location.

EVERGREY recently returned to their rehearsal studios to prepare their next studio album. The band is tentatively scheduled to begin recording the follow-up to this year's "Monday Morning Apocalypse" in February for a May 2007 release.

Commented guitarist/vocalist Tom S. Englund, "So far the material sounds about the heaviest and darkest we have released to date."

EVERGREY guitarist Henrik Danhage recently filled in for IN FLAMES guitarist Björn Gelotte on the latter band's U.S. tour due to the fact that Gelotte's wife was about to give birth to the couple's second child.

"Monday Morning Apocalypse" was recorded at Division One Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden by the experienced production team of Sanken Sandquist and Stefan Glaumann, who have previously worked with such artists as RAMMSTEIN, BON JOVI, BRITNEY SPEARS and DEF LEPPARD.
