EVERGREEN TERRACE Signs With METAL BLADE RECORDS

February 2, 2007

High Impact Recordings and Metal Blade Records have announced the signing of Jacksonville, Florida's EVERGREEN TERRACE.

Since 1999, EVERGREEN TERRACE has created its own brand of fast, powerful, heavy, and melodic hardcore. The band's disregard for gimmicks and trends has allowed them to make music with true energy and passion. EVERGREEN TERRACE's diverse sound has allowed them to share the stage with bands like NORMA JEAN, UNEARTH, EVERY TIME I DIE, HATEBREED, BANE, and GWAR.

High Impact Recordings founder (and AS I LAY DYING vocalist) Tim Lambesis comments, "EVERGREEN TERRACE is a band that will soon get the recognition they've deserved for quite some time. They are a band that started before their genre blew up, and all the while they've maintained a distinct identity by combining the energy of punk and the syncopation of metal with a melody that is their own. In a genre that sometime goes over the top trying to be 'heavy,' EVERGREEN TERRACE reminds us that energy and good songwriting should still be the bottom line."

Stated EVERGREEN TERRACE, "Very excited to work with such a hard-working label that believes in what we are trying to accomplish as a band. It feels amazing to be a part of a roster with such a huge history in the underground and mainstream metal and hardcore scene."

EVERGREEN TERRACE will begin recording the follow-up to 2005's "Sincerity is an Easy Disguise in This Business" in February at Vision Sound in Florida.

EVERGREEN TERRACE is:

Andrew Carey - Vocals
Craig Chaney - Guitar/Vocals
Joshua James - Guitar
Jason Southwell - Bass
Kyle Mims – Drums
