EVANESCENCE: First Rescheduled U.S. Dates Announced

December 4, 2003

EVANESCENCE will make up their recently cancelled U.S. tour dates in late February/early March. So far, two newly rescheduled shows have been announced: St. Cloud. Minnesota's Halenbeck Hall on Feb. 20 and Madison, Wisconsin's Alliant Energy Center on Feb. 21.

Tickets for each of the postponed shows will be honored on the make-up dates, according to an announcement on the band's web site.

EVANESCENCE were due to perform a number of concerts throughout the Western and Midwestern U.S. between Nov. 21 and Dec. 7. Three mid-December Canadian shows will take place as planned.

In January, the band are scheduled to mount a tour of Australia and Japan.

In October, EVANESCENCE guitarist and co-founder Ben Moody unexpectedly bailed out on the group during its European tour. The band recruited COLD guitarist Terry Balsamo as Moody's temporary replacement.
