EVANESCENCE: Denver Concert Cancelled

November 26, 2007

According to 9News.com, the EVANESCENCE concert scheduled for Sunday night (November 25) at Magness Arena in Denver, Colorado was canceled because of some sick band members.

9NEWS entertainment reporter Kirk Montgomery has learned two members of the tour were taken to Porter Hospital with flu-like symptoms. Kirk says "many others" involved with the show were also complaining of flu-like symptoms but were not hospitalized. The two taken to the hospital were treated and then released a few hours later.

A source close to the tour tells Kirk with so many people on a tour bus, it's not uncommon for an illness to spread.

Ironically the opening act for the tour is the band SICK PUPPIES.

The show will not be rescheduled. Refunds will be available where you bought your tickets.
