EUROPE To Tour Japan In January

November 19, 2004

Reunited Swedish hard rockers EUROPE have completed the European tour in support of their recently released comeback effort, "Start From the Dark". An end-of-tour message on the band's official web site reads as follows:

"So here we are, at the end of yet another fantastic tour. We can't believe the support we got from Paris, Antwerpen and Tilburg. We are a very lucky band to have such strong supporters. So to all of you who have been on and around the shows on this tour: You have really made the whole thing very special!

"Our final gig in London went very well indeed. We didn't know what to expect since we hadn't played there in a long time but we received such a warm welcome.

"And the great thing is that we filmed everything for a DVD. Everything from travelling to London overnight from Holland to the celebrations with our crew in the small hours of the morning.

"Someone also told us that some of you were still standing outside the venue long after the gig.We are truly sorry that we didn’t get to see you this time but we are planning to come back to England soon so hopefully we can get a chance to meet you then. We recognized people from so many different countries at the London show and we also heard that someone had come all the way from New Zealand, incredible!!!

"We will keep writing in this diary so that you’ll know what we’re up to. Maybe not as often as when we were on tour but we’ll do our best. Next year we will be back on the road again, starting with Japan in January. Keep looking in the 'news' section for further updates.

"From all of us in the band to all of you, thank you ever so much. We simply could not do this without you."
