ENTHRONED Guitarist Says Writing Process For New Album 'Isn't Finished Yet'

September 23, 2006

Guitarist Nornagest of the long-running Belgian black metal warlords ENTHRONED has sent the following message to BLABBERMOUTH.NET regarding the reports that the band is working on its next album, tentatively titled "Tetra Karcist":

"I would like to clarify something about the news I read on Blabbermouth today: We are just working on the new album and aren't in the studio yet for the final recording process. We just did the pre-production for about five new songs in our home studio. The writing process isn't finished yet, but as it was said the material we got 'till now seems to go into a more opressi[ive] direction yet keeping our own style. But the next release will DEFINITELY surprise a lot of people but rejoice those into filthy black metal."

ENTHRONED's follow-up to 2004's "Xes Haereticum", "Tetra Karcist" is tentatively scheduled for release in early 2007 via Napalm Records.

ENTHRONED's last release was the "Black Goat Ritual" live album, which came out in 2005 via Napalm. The CD was recorded live in Porto Allegre, Brazil in 2004 and was produced and engineered by Treck and Dr. Feelgood.
