Commented ENSLAVED guitarist Ivar Bjørnson: "We just got word that we're playing the 2009 edition of Bloodstock Open Air! It will be our first appearance at a U.K. festival ever! What an absolutely great place to begin! The reception for both the 'Vertebrae' album and its accompanying tour in the U.K. has been beyond anything we could hope for. Both writers and listeners have boosted our confidence through placing us at the top of their various polls, now it is our privilege to prove them right on stage; see you all at Bloodstock!"
