ENGEL To Film 'Calling Out' Video

June 12, 2006

ENGEL, the new Gothenburg, Sweden-based quintet featuring guitarists Marcus Sunesson (ex-THE CROWN) and Niclas Engelin (PASSENGER, ex-GARDENIAN, IN FLAMES),drummer Mojjo (RELEVANT FEW, DRACENA),and vocalist Mangan Klavborn, have posted the following message on their official web site:

"Our gig at the Rock Hard Festival last weekend went wonderful! Great crowd, wonderful weather, and the one or three rewarding visits at the Metal Markt made our trip home somewhat amusing. We want to thank Axel Jusseit for a fun photosession in the sun, and Melanie for the overwhelming support, and of course Götz, the man. We hope to see you all again in a near future.

"On a more local note, we'll be shooting a video for the track 'Calling Out', which you can enjoy at our MySpace page, on the 1st of July. We will be in need of a lot of moshing, so interested parties can contact us for more details at visual @ EngelPropaganda.com for more details. Please note that the video shoot is taking place in Gothenburg, Sweden."

As previously reported, ENGEL — who are currently unsigned — have been confirmed for the Peace & Love festival, set to take place July 4-8 in Borlänge, Sweden. Also scheduled to appear are THE HAUNTED, DARK TRANQUILLITY, DEATHSTARS, ASTRAL DOORS, HARDCORE SUPERSTAR, SOILWORK and BURST, among others.
