ENGEL Promise 'Groundbreaking' New Music

February 7, 2006

ENGEL, the new Gothenburg, Sweden-based quintet featuring guitarists Marcus Sunesson (ex-THE CROWN) and Niclas Engelin (PASSENGER, ex-GARDENIAN, IN FLAMES),drummer Mojjo (RELEVANT FEW, DRACENA),bassist Robert Hakemo (ex-GARDENIAN, GOOSEFLESH) and vocalist Mangan Klavborn, have issued the following update:

"Though [there has been] some secrecy regarding this particular matter, the band has until now [been] conjured within the walls of the formerly known Studio Fredman, and the result will — while some sources uphold otherwise — be groundbreaking for the industry of hard music. The tracks are now in the hands of Mr. Tue Madsen, and you will of course be updated in due time.

"After supporting ARCH ENEMY when touring Scandinavia, the band has done several promotiontrips which have resulted in media-coverage both in Europe as well as overseas, and this will not end here. Another video-production is also at work, and a massive mediaattack will wrap up the release of both new sound and sight from ENGEL. A fresh view to online propaganda is available at www.engelpropaganda.com, including some previews and reflections from one or two of the involved. A previously unreleased track is also available at the [same] location."
