EMPIRE To Release 'Chasing Shadows' In November

September 14, 2007

November 23, 2007 will see the release of the brand new EMPIRE album, "Chasing Shadows" on Metal Heaven. This will be the fourth release from the band and the first to feature vocalist Doogie White (RAINBOW, CORNERSTONE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) and drummer Mike Terrana (MASTERPLAN, AXEL RUDI PELL) alongside longtime bassist Neil Murray (WHITESNAKE, BLACK SABBATH, GARY MOORE) and founding member, guitarist Rolf Munkes (MAJESTY, RAZORBACK, VANIZE).

Munkes and White were introduced by Murray in late 2006. They quickly established a formidable writing partnership. The songs were written over a two-month period near the beginning of 2007. The album went into full production in late spring and was produced and mixed by Munkes at Empire Studios over the summer months.
