EMERALD Set Release Date For 'Forces Of Doom'

Swiss melodic metallers EMERALD have set a February 23 European release date through Shark Records/Crazy Life Music for their third full-length album, "Forces Of Doom" (view cover artwork here).

The follow-up to 2002's "Calling The Knights" was recorded at Mohrmann Studios in Bochum, Germany with producers Detlef Mohrmann and Axel Thubeauville. Included on the CD is a guest appearance by MAJESTY guitarist Tarek Maghary, who played a solo on the title cut, "Forces Of Doom".

EMERALD have scheduled a CD-release party on March 13 at the Bad Bonn in Düdingen, Switzerland. Joining them on the bill will be the Swiss metal band INISHMORE. EMERALD have also been confirmed for the Classic Metal Night on March 19 at the Zuckerfabrik in Frankenthal, Germany. Also set to appear are TYRANT EYES, BOOMERANG and DISTURBED MIND.
