EMBRACE THE END Seeks New Members

November 21, 2006

Sacramento, California based hardcore act EMBRACE THE END is looking for applicants to fill the vacancies their recently departed guitar and bass player have left open. The band has issued the following statement:

"Unfortunately we are losing a few crucial players on team EMBRACE THE END. Patrick, Louie and Karl are no longer with us.

"After touring pretty much nonstop last year, we've spent the summer at home and some of us have decided to move on and pursue other endeavors.

"If you've seen us live over the last few months you've probably already noticed that our singer Patrick was missing. Patrick quit at the beginning of summer to focus on school and the production of his erotic aquatic spelunking series that should be dropping soon. He will also be following that up with a nationwide publicity tour on a track bike next year. We wish him god-speed and the best of luck.

"To make matters worse for our band, Louie and Karl have thrown in the towel as well. Louie has been with us since the conception of the band (over six years ago) so it's a big blow and he will be missed. Karl has also been with us for the past two years and has been through some silly and heavy shit. It won't be the same without him. The rest of us will continue to work on our new album and are currently and actively seeking a new bassist and guitarist with righteous shreddery. The ideal candidate should have pro gear, be willing to tour, able to learn by ear, write independent and innovative parts, relocate if necessary, and practice two to three times a week. Must also rage hard.

"If interested please be prepared to send video of yourself playing one of our songs. Contact: [email protected]. We are looking for serious applicants only. If you don't think you can do it, don't waste our time.

"We are playing one final show with this lineup on Nov. 22nd at the Boardwalk in Orangevale, CA with BURY YOUR DEAD, 5V4G, BEFORE I WAKE, and others. PLEASE COME OUT, SHOW YOUR SUPPORT AND SEND PATRICK, LOUIE AND KARL OFF RIGHT."

EMBRACE THE END's debut album, "Counting Hallways To The Left", was released last year via Abacus Recordings.
