ELVENKING: Live Shows Announced

Italian folk/power metal band ELVENKING have set "The Winter Wake" as the title of their third album, due on January 27, 2006 via AFM Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Wyrd" was recorded at Sherpa Studios (Italy),mixed at Sonic Pump Studios by Nino Laurenne and was mastered at Finnvox Studios by Mika Jussilla.

ELVENKING have posted the following update on their official web site:

"Two important live dates added: ELVENKING will return to hit the stages on January 7th for the concert in memory of AFM founder Andy Allendörfer (died early this year),together with other bands from the label such as AXXIS, SQUEALER etc. The concert will take place in Schwalmstadt (Germany; venue to be announced soon).

"March, 11th is the date fixed for the official live premiere of new album, 'The Winter Wake'. ELVENKING will present the album on stage with a great show at Deposito Giordani in Pordenone, Italy (ELVENKING's hometown). Surprises and a performance beyond usual standards (with RAINTIME as supporting act) has to be expected for sure!"

ELVENKING recently announced the departure of guitarist Jarpen. For the time being, the group will go on as a five-piece.
