ELVENKING Finish Mixing New Album

June 28, 2005

Italian folk/power metal band ELVENKING have finished mixing their third album at Sonic Pump Studios in Finland for a late 2005 release via AFM Records.

"Last week, Aydan and Damnagoras [came] back from Finland," reads a posting on the group's web site. "The mixing phase is finished and the band is totally satisfied with the result!! In the end of July, the mix will head for Finnvox studios for the final mastering. ELVENKING wish to thank once again Sonic Pump and Nino Laurenne for the great time in Helsinki and the professional work in the studio!!"

The follow-up to 2004's "Wyrd" was recorded at the group's own Sherpa Studios. Cover artwork and booklet layout are being designed by Hungarian artist Havancsák Gyula (ANNIHILATOR, GRAVE DIGGER).

ELVENKING recently announced the departure of guitarist Jarpen. For the time being, the group will go on as a five-piece.
