ELVENKING Confirmed For Hungary's PEPSI SZIGET 2002 Festival

Italian "pagan metal" act ELVENKING have been confirmed for the Metal Hammer stage at the Pepsi Sziget 2002 festival in Budapest, Hungary on August 1st. The seven-day, multi stage festival drew 400,000 people in 2001 and is expected to achieve similar numbers this year. Other artists scheduled to perform at the event include GAMMA RAY, NIGHTWISH, EDGUY, SAVATAGE, KREATOR, and H.I.M.

In other news, ELVENKING will perform an extended set at the UK's Bloodstock festival on August 31st, and will be joined by former SKYCLAD and current RETURN TO THE SABBAT frontman Martin Walkyier for renditions of several SKYCLAD songs.
