ELVENKING Completes Acoustic Guitar Parts For New Album

Italian folk/power metal band ELVENKING has finished recording the acoustic guitar parts for its new album, tentatively due in early 2007 via AFM Records. A studio diary si available at this location.

ELVENKING recently introduced a new member to its live lineup. "After the European tour we have decided to fill Jarpen's [recently departed guitarist] place at least on the live side," the group previously stated. "The guy who's helping us out at the moment is Luca, a friend of ours. Both of us will take our time to see if things work out in every way. In any case from now on, ELVENKING will definitely have two guitarists on stage."

ELVENKING released its third album, "The Winter Wake", in Europe in January via AFM Records. The CD was issued in the U.S. in March. The follow-up to 2004's "Wyrd" was recorded at Sherpa Studios (Italy),mixed at Sonic Pump Studios by Nino Laurenne and was mastered at Finnvox Studios by Mika Jussilla.
