EDGUY Line Up TV Appearances

German melodic metallers EDGUY have lined up the following television appearances, according to their official web site:

February 7, 2004:

"EDGUY to perform at M-Chartshow on PRO 7, 18.00-19.00 CET. EDGUY will perform the song 'King Of Fools'. On this day there will be a SMS-voting via mobile phones and if the guys make it to the top 20 they have a pretty good chance to appear there again! Just watch the show and send the message 'Edguy - King of Fools' to 82802. Are you sick of all the plastic pop 'superstars' on TV? Here's your chance to change it! (Germany Only)"

February 1, 2004:

" 'King Of Fools' Videoclip at Rock/Alternative on Viva Plus, 21.00-02.00 CET. Check out this link to vote for EDGUY's video online and by phone.

"This week: 'King Of Fools' Videoclip at Rock On on Onyx-TV. The show was already on this past Tuesday, but will be repeated February 1st, 21.00-22.00 CET and February 2nd, 16.00-17.00 CET. There's also voting via phone, just check out this number: 01379/37104506. (Germany Only)"

February 6, 2004:

"EDGUY at popXport, broadcasted worldwide 19.30 CET. Check out this link to see if and when you can watch it. The show will be repeated on February 7th, 7.30 CET and February 8th, 1.30 CET and 13.30 CET."

March 22nd, 2004:

"EDGUY live at WDR-Rockpalast, 1.00 - 2.30 CET. One hour of EDGUY's gig in Cologne plus an exclusive interview!"

As previously reported, EDGUY's video for the brand-new track "King of Fools" has been posted online in Real Media format at this location.

"King of Fools" is the title cut of EDGUY's new EP, due on February 2 through Nuclear Blast Records. In addition to "King of Fools", the five-song effort will contain a 15-minute "making of" video clip (for Macintosh & PC) plus several exclusive cuts that will not appear on the band's forthcoming full-length album, "Hellfire Club", due on March 15.

The follow-up to 2001's "Mandrake", "Hellfire Club" was produced by EDGUY and Norman Meiritz, with additional assistance from Sascha Paeth (RHAPSODY, ANGRA),who was responsible for the drum sound on the album. The final mix took place at the famous Finnvox Studios (NIGHTWISH, STRATOVARIUS) in Helsinki, Finland.
